CPO Bosch had a totally ridiculous return policy, they will only accept returns if the item is unused so if you buy from them and wish to return, you must lie and say the item is used. Be careful, This is NOT an impact driver but only a screw gun. I own the 10.4 impact driver which is very nice but this is a mistake in design. To make matters worse, the trigger has a very annoying lag in response - pull the trigger and 1/2 a second later the drill begins to turn but slow at first then revs up. I drove a couple screws before chucking it aside only to list it on Ebay a couple days later. there are many better products which will do a much better job than this item. Beware.
The batteries hold up good, charge quickly and keeps a charge when not in use. Drilling its so so.
Worth every dollar, its so handy. Tight spaces, excellent torque for its size.
At first the $ scared me away for just a screwdriver/drill. Also for a hobby,I build furniture out of Red Oak, the holes are counter sunk of course, no problem putting them in.
I screwed a ton of 2 1/2" screws in pressure treated projects, no problem. I even did 3" screws for a test, worked fine.
The chuck is not for percise drilling, although in a tight spot, it worked really well, easier than a full size drill. Its still kind of expensive, I'd buy it again, no problem.
The charger works well and does the job in 30 minutes.Using 10x3" screws to replace roofing nails in a deck I can easily get 10 or more with one charge. But that's over kill for most jobs where the Bosch driver is just right. So long as you use the driver within its capacities its excellent.
The Dremel 1120-01 7.2-Volt Cordless Screwdriver is very compact and great for small stuff like computers and mounting disks in RAID arrays. But the Bosch has a lot more torque and can do more.
I have 4 different drivers and this is very good for light to moderate duty particularly in cramped areas. For the heavy stuff I use a Bosch 17618-01 18-Volt 1/2-Inch Brute Tough Litheon Hammer Drill/Driver with 2 Fat Batteries pricey but hard to beat.
It is fine for driving screws into decks (10x3" SPAX and auger points), but if I was building a deck I would want a screw gun or use a nail gun with ballistic screws. I have a standard Sears 3/8 drill driver and it is a great drill but little better than the Bosh as a driver.
Compact and light with very good torque. But then I liberate the screws first.
I like it but I will not use it too much on the job sites. I have more powerful ones and this Bosch is really for small projects. I just love to have the right tools for the right job. Great price.
Great tool kit, speedy service, and trust worthy. This tool has very high torque for using a small battery, very lite-weight and agile to use.Thanks.
